Noodles Italian Style
|Butter/Oleo||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), softened|
|Dried parsley flakes||2 Tablespoon|
|Dried basil||1 Teaspoon, crumbled|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce, softened (1 Package)|
|Boiling water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg noodles||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Butter/Oleo||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Cheese||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), shredded (Romano Or Parmesan)|
Combine butter, parsley and basil.
Blend in cream cheese and pepper.
Stir in the boiling water and blend well.
Keep warm over a pan of hot water.
Cook noodles in large amount of boiling, salted water until tender.
Cook garlic in oleo for a few minutes and pour over noodles.
Toss lightly and quickly to coat well.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of cheese.
Add cream cheese sauce to the noodles.
Put on warm platter and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup of cheese.
Garnish with additional parsley, if desired.
