Ingredients
  Beef chuck 2 1⁄4 Pound, cut into 1-1/2 inch cubes
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), chopped
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Paprika 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Rosemary 1 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sage 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Canned tomatoes 16 Ounce (1 Can)
  Canned tomato sauce 8 Ounce (1 Can)
  Bay leaf 1
  Crisp cooked bacon slices 2 , crumbled
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Brown beef cubes in vegetable oil.
Add onion; saut6 until tender.
Stir in flour and next 10 ingredients; simmer, covered, 2 hours.
Serve with poppy seed noodles; sprinkle with crumbled crisp bacon.
