Chicken Breasts with Creamy Noodles
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), unsifted|
|Poultry seasoning||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chicken breasts||3 , halved|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Wide egg noodles||8 Ounce, uncooked (6 Cups)|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Snipped chives||3 Tablespoon|
|Onion powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Warm milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Combine flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
Coat chicken pieces with the mixture.
Heat oil in large heavy skillet.
Add chicken and brown well on all sides.
Cover; reduce heat and cook until chicken is tender, about 25 to 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
Immediately toss with sour cream, chives, onion powder and milk.
Serve with chicken pieces on top.
