Double Noodles Alsace

Ingredients
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Tagliolini 1⁄2 Pound, cooked very al dente, drained (Narrow Noodles)
  Grated gruyere cheese 4 Tablespoon
  Light olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in half of the noodles.
Blend in the cheese, salt, and pepper; simmer for 3 minutes.
Remove from stove and turn mixture into a heated serving dish.
Meanwhile saute the remaining noodles in the oil in a trypan until they are browned, but not too crisp.
Ladle these noodles over those in the serving dish.
