Rice Noodle Pilaf

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Onions 2 , chopped
  Uncooked white rice/Processed white rice 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Regular Variety)
  Canned sliced mushrooms/1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced 6 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Medium noodles 4 Ounce
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Curry powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Canned chicken broth/Homemade chicken broth 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Directions

About 1 hour and 30 minutes before serving:
1. Start heating oven to 375°F.
2. In 1/4 cup butter, in Dutch oven, saute onions until golden; add rice and mushrooms; saute 5 minutes, or until rice is golden.
3. Add noodles, salt, and curry powder; toss. Add chicken broth and 1/4 cup butter or margarine; heat until butter melts. Transfer to a 2-quart casserole.
4. Bake, covered, 45 minutes, or until rice is tender. Uncover casserole immediately; fluff up rice with a fork to serve.
