Seasoned Noodles Alfredo

Ingredients
  Medium noodles 16 Ounce (2 packages, 8 ounces each)
  Garlic 1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm)
  Butter/Margarine 3⁄8 Pound (1/4 pound plus 1/8 pound)
  Light cream 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Shredded parmesan cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs), or grated
  Seasoned pepper/Coarsely ground black pepper 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Finely chopped walnuts 2 Tablespoon
Directions

About 30 minutes before supper:
1. Cook noodles as package label directs, using salt called for, and reducing cooking time by a minute or two; then remove and drain noodles.
2. Rub skillet with garlic clove; place butter and cream, then noodles, in hot skillet, set on candle warmer or over direct heat. (Or place butter, cream, and cooked noodles in blazer of chafing dish, with heat source lighted.)
3. Simmer noodles 1 minute; tossing gently with fork and spoon. Top with Parmesan cheese, pepper, and walnuts. Toss until all are just blended.
