Noodle Broccoli Cheese Soup
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped|
|Chicken broth||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Uncooked noodles||6 Ounce (Fine / Thin)|
|Frozen broccoli spears||16 Ounce, partially thawed (1 Package)|
|Milk||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|American cheese/Cheddar cheese / both||12 Ounce, shredded|
Heat the butter in a large soup pot.
Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft.
Add the broth and bring to a boil.
Stir in the noodles and cook until almost tender.
Add the broccoli and milk; heat thoroughly, but do not allow to boil.
Stir in the cheese and continue heating until it melts.
Season with salt and pepper.
