Noodle Broccoli Cheese Soup

Ingredients
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Finely chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped
  Chicken broth 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Uncooked noodles 6 Ounce (Fine / Thin)
  Frozen broccoli spears 16 Ounce, partially thawed (1 Package)
  Milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  American cheese/Cheddar cheese / both 12 Ounce, shredded
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Heat the butter in a large soup pot.
Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft.
Add the broth and bring to a boil.
Stir in the noodles and cook until almost tender.
Add the broccoli and milk; heat thoroughly, but do not allow to boil.
Stir in the cheese and continue heating until it melts.
Season with salt and pepper.
