Savory Frank Noodle Bake

Ingredients
  Medium noodles 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Eggs 3 , beaten
  Canned imitation sour cream 8 Ounce (1 Can)
  Cream style cottage cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Frankfurters 1⁄2 Pound, thinly sliced (5 Pieces)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Cornflake crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon, melted
Directions

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
In small skillet cook onion in the 1 tablespoon butter or margarine till tender but not brown.
Combine eggs, imitation sour cream, cottage cheese, frankfurters, cooked onion, cooked noodles, salt, and pepper.
Turn mixture into a 1-quart casserole.
Toss cornflake crumbs with the melted butter or margarine; sprinkle atop casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° till heated through, 40 to 45 minutes.
