Old Fashioned Chicken N Noodles
|Chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green onions||3 , chopped|
|Tomato||1 Medium, quartered|
|Dried parsley flakes||1 Tablespoon|
|Stewing chicken||2 1⁄2 Pound, cut up|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Egg noodles||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), uncooked|
1. Combine all ingredients, except noodles, in 3-quart glass casserole. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
2. Microwave on HIGH for 15 minutes. Turn chicken pieces over.
3. Microwave on SIMMER tor 50 to 60 minutes or until chicken is fork tender. Remove chicken from broth; stir in noodles; recover, and continue cooking on DEFROST for 12 to 14 minutes or until noodles are tender. Remove chicken from bones. Return chicken meat to broth; recover, and continue cooking on SIMMER for 3 to 4 minutes or until hot. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
