Creamy Noodles Alfredo
|Narrow noodles/Fettuccini||1 Pound|
|Boiling salted water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Grated swiss cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), hot|
Cook the noodles in boiling salted water until barely tender.
Drain and dress immediately with the butter, which has been melted and is still very hot, and the Parmesan and Swiss cheeses.
Mix with a fork and spoon, lifting the noodles high so that the steam will escape.
When each noodle is well coated with cheese, pour heated cream over the noodles, mix lightly, and serve at once to 6 persons.
