Turkey Noodle Soup
|Homemade turkey broth/Chicken broth||9 Cup (144 tbs)|
|Carrots||4 Medium, shredded|
|Celery ribs||3 , sliced|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Sage||1 Teaspoon, rubbed|
|Diced cooked turkey||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Uncooked macaroni||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In a large kettle or Dutch oven, combine the first six ingredients.
Tie cloves and bay leaf in a cheesecloth bag and add to kettle; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour.
Add the turkey, macaroni and parsley; cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until macaroni is tender and soup is heated through.
Discard spice bag.
