Creamy Ham And Noodle Dinner
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Dried dill weed||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Dijon mustard||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs), diced|
|Garlic||1 Teaspoon, minced|
|Ham||1 Pound, cubed|
|Wide egg noodles||16 Ounce, cooked and cubed (1 Package)|
|Frozen green peas||10 Ounce (1 Package, Thawed)|
In a small bowl combine flour and a small amount of milk until smooth.
Add remaining milk, dill and mustard; set aside.
In a large saucepan over medium heat melt butter.
Add carrots and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally until crisp-tender.
Stir in reserved milk mixture;bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Cook and stir 1 minute.
Stir in ham, noodles and peas.
Cook and stir until heated through.
