Easy Beef Noodle Casserole
|Butter/Margarine||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Onion||1 Large, peeled and chopped|
|Celery||250 Milliliter, diced (1 Cup)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped|
|Ground beef||1 Pound (500 Gram)|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Can (10 oz), undrained (284 Milliliter)|
|Tomato sauce||7 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can / 213 Milliliter)|
|Chicken consomme/Water||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Salt||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)|
|Lemon rind||1 , grated|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)|
|Egg noodles||8 Ounce (250 Gram)|
|Cheddar cheese||250 Milliliter, grated (1 Cup)|
€¢ Microwave noodles according to Pasta Cooking Chart.
€¢ Combine butter or margarine and onion in a large microwave-safe casserole. Microwave at HIGH 1 minute, stir. Add the celery and garlic. Microwave at HIGH 1 minute. Stir well.
€¢ Add crumbled ground beef, stir to mix. Microwave at HIGH 5 minutes. Stir well.
€¢ Add the remaining ingredients except the cheese. Mix thoroughly. Cover and microwave at HIGH 10 minutes, stir.
€¢ Add the cheese, stir until well blended. Microwave at MEDIUM 10 minutes.
