Mango Cremes

There is a great amount of intrigue associated with the launch of a new cookie flavor by the Girl Scouts. So, it is natural that when the organization announced its new cookie flavor for the 2013 season – Mango Crème Cookies – people are interested in what it looks and tastes like.

This cookie sandwich is filled with mango-flavored cream inside vanilla and coconut cookie shells and it is being sold under the full title of “Mango Crèmes with Nutrifusion.” Now you must be wondering what Nutrifusion is. Well, it is basically a combination of ingredients that come together to provide you some vitamins. Well, even with the Nutrifusion tag, the Mango Crèmes will still be called a cookie.

The cookies are supposed to feature 15% of the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) of Vitamin B1 and 5% RDI of Vitamins A, C, D, E and B6 per cookie. But don’t mistake this for some health supplement because just three cookies of this pack equals 20% of your daily saturated fat intake. Although, there is palm oil, instead of high fructose corn syrup, as well as a whole food concentrate that comes from cranberries, pomegranate, orange, grape, strawberry and shitake mushrooms.

But the Girl Scouts also mentions that the Mango Crèmes are healthier than other Girl Scout cookies like Tagalongs. Those who have tasted these cookies say that these are delicious. What do you have to say?
