If you are a “Meal-wolf”, that is if you are prone to wolfing down your meals, more often than not, and need help to slow down while eating, buy this unusual new device called “HAPPIfork.” This new-age fork tracks the way you eat and it is going to be on market in April 2013.

More than 150,000 visitors are expected to attend the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013, which is on in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11. It is here that this revolutionary product will be displayed first. And there is no doubt that the thousands of visitors to this electronics event are going to talk about this unusual piece of cutlery long after the show is over.

The fork has sensors built into its base, which measures how fast the user is eating. However, that is not all. This new-age fork also calculates the time and quantity of food consumed. So, it is no doubt that it is going to be a happy aid for people on diet.

CES spokesman Philippe Monteiro Da Rocha informed that people can even upload their HAPPIfork results to their smartphones and analyze their eating habits. Moreover, the fork is a boon for users who have difficulty trying to eat slowly.

Now is the time when you can actually listen to your mother or grandmother’s advice to chew 32 times before swallowing your food and HAPPIfork would be happy to help you do that!
