Chick-fil-A Reverses Its Anti Gay Stand
After the huge ruckus about Chick-fil-A owner Dan Cathy’s stand against gay marriages and the fiasco of protests and counter protests, the food chain has decided to give the matter a rest, once and for all.
Dan Cathy has now announced that he will no longer be supporting anti gay organizations and a public press release proclaims that a memo forwarded to all chick-fil-A stakeholders read, "every person with honor, dignity and respect." The company spokesperson hasn’t quite confirmed this though but insists that "we have no agenda, policy or position against anyone."
Joe Monroe, the obdurate alderman from Chicago has welcomed the move, also agreeing to take back his stand of not allowing a Chick-fil-A outlet in his ward.
Well, it looks almost like a fairy tale ending and we sincerely hope that Chick-fil-A and its opponents get to live happily ever after.
