These Tears Will Make You Give Up Salt!
Would you like to use human tears to make your food salty? You think its gross? Well, a cheeky product is out in the market and it is made with human tears. Not just any human tears but tears shed during various emotional and non-emotional situations. The product is “Salt Made From Human Tears” and it is being sold at a store named “Hoxton Street Monster Supplies.”
Now as the name of the store goes, there is not much to be expected except for some crazy product and this salt surely meets the expectations. The Store website describes the product as combining “centuries-old craft with the freshest human tears which are gently boiled, released into shallow crystallization tanks, then harvested by hand and finally rinsed in brine.” Did reading this bring tears of your own? Well, it happens to the best of us!
The salt is made with a variety of tears, which were shed during anger, while sneezing, while laughing, while chopping onions or during sorrow. So you see, there is a whole range of salts to choose from! Expert tear harvester, Halen Mon, has worked on these salts along with “Studio Weave” and the fact that Mon specializes in sea salt, which is exceptionally beneficial to your health, speaks volumes about the quality of the tear salt. Not really (we're joking!!!)
The Monster Supplies is famous, rather notorious, for fake products, most of which are sold for charity. And the human tear salts are not the only weird product to come out of their shop. They have already placed on the market a can containing “A Vague Sense of Unease” as well as a box of “Cubed Earwax” for sale.
By their own admission, these salts are meant to be “silly or fantastical” product and these can be purchased online at the rate ranging from $11 to $47.
But salt made from human tears? Guess, it is the perfect reason, even better than cardiovascular disease, to give up on salt completely.
