Nectarines With Port
|Ruby port/Other sweet red wine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cinnamon stick||1 (3 Inch)|
|Nectarines||6 Medium, each cut into 16 wedges (About 1.5 Pounds)|
Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan; stir well.
Place over medium-high heat, and cook 10 minutes or until reduced to 6 tablespoons.
Remove from heat; discard cinnamon stick.
Spoon 1 tablespoon wine mixture into each of 6 dessert dishes; top with 16 nectarine wedges.
Garnish with mint, if desired.
