|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Prepared mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Pancake mix||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cocktail frankfurters||5 1⁄2 Ounce, halved crosswise (1 package)|
Combine first 4 ingredients; add pancake mix.
Beat with rotary beater till smooth.
Pour salad oil into fondue cooker to no more than 1/2 capacity or to depth of 2 inches.
Heat over range to 375Â°.
Add 1 teaspoon salt.
Transfer cooker to fondue burner.
Have meat at room temperature in serving bowl.
Spear a frank with fondue fork, dip into batter, letting excess drip off.
Fry in hot oil about 1 minute.
Transfer to dinner fork; dip in sauce.
