Mustard Short Ribs

  Beef short ribs 4 Pound, cut into pieces
  Prepared mustard 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Onions 4 Medium, sliced
  Shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)

Place meat in shallow glass dish.
Mix mustard, lemon juice, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper; spread on meat.
Top with onions.
Cover tightly; refrigerate 24 hours, turning meat occasionally.
Brown ribs in shortening over medium heat; pour off drippings.
Add onions and pour marinade over meat.
Cover tightly; cook in 350° oven 2 hours.
