Steamed Mussel

Steamed Mussel is a food preparation in which mussels are cooked by a steaming process. The mussels are first stir fried in olive oil, along with shallots, garlic and other herbs, and are then steamed in a simmering broth until they open. Steamed Mussel is generally served along with garlic bread. Recipe variations across various parts of the world include Spicy Thai Steamed Mussel and Sambuca Steamed Mussel.
