Baked Stuffed Mushrooms
|Chopped green onions||1 Tablespoon|
|Flour||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Chicken stock/Sherry / cream / red wine grating of nutmeg||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Crackers||6 , crushed|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
Wash mushrooms and pat dry.
Remove stems and chop finely.
In a heavy skillet, melt butter; saute onions and chopped mushroom stems, cook slowly for 10 minutes.
Add flour and liquid of your choice; mix well.
Add nutmeg parsley, salt and pepper.
Put mushroom caps in buttered dish; fill with mixture; cover with mixture of cracker crumbs and melted butter.
Heat for 15 minutes at 425 degree F.
