Mushroom And Scallop Skewers

Ingredients
  Bay scallops 12
  Mushroom caps 12
  Melted butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Clean and dry the scallops and mushroom caps.
Nestle a scallop in each mushroom cap, skewer through the side of the mushroom, taking care to pierce the scallop to hold it in place.
Brush generously with melted butter and sprinkle with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Serve with lemon wedges and remaining butter.
