Chicken With Mushrooms And Sour Cream

Ingredients
  Chicken breasts 2 (Whole)
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Finely chopped green onion 2 Tablespoon (Finely Chopped Scallions)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 Can (10 oz)
  Sliced mushrooms 1 Can (10 oz), sliced
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Dairy sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Hot cooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Bone chicken breasts; remove skin.
Cut each breast half into 10 or 12 strips.
Assemble remaining ingredients.
Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet over high heat.
Add chicken and scallions; sprinkle with salt.
Cook 6 minutes.
Add undiluted mushroom soup, sliced mushrooms with liquid and water.
Heat to boiling, stirring until mixture is smooth.
Reduce heat; blend in sour cream.
Do not boil.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
