Chicken With Celery And Mushrooms
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Celery stalks||4 , cut into 0.25 inch slices|
|Whole small mushrooms||1⁄4 Pound|
|Broiler fryer chicken||1 , skinned, boned, and cut into 0.50 inch strips|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Cornstarch||1 Tablespoon (In 2 Table Spoons Water)|
|Water||2 Tablespoon (In 1 Table Spoon Cornstarch)|
|Dry sherry||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Heat oil in wok and stirfry celery and mushrooms 2 to 3 minutes.
Stirfry chicken 3 to 4 minutes or until done Combine chicken and vegetables.
Add broth, soy sauce, cornstarch mixture, and sherry.
Heat until sauce boils and is thickened, stirring constantly.
Serve at once with rice.
