Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
  Fresh mushrooms 2 Pound
  Bread crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Mushrooms 2 Pound
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce
  Cream 2 Tablespoon
  Parmesan cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Fine bread crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Garlic powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped chives/Green onion tops 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Wash, dry, and remove stems from mushrooms. Melt butter, and dip each mushroom in butter. Combine cream cheese, cream, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, and chopped chives or onions. Fill mushrooms. Place the filled mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes, or until nicely browned. These mushrooms can be wrapped tightly and frozen or refrigerated until time of serving. They are excellent as a first course for dinner or as a main course with a salad and bread for a light luncheon. They are also good as a picnic or snack food, served cold after baking.
