Savory Creamed Mushrooms
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped onions||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|American cheese||1⁄2 Pound|
|Mushrooms||2 Can (20 oz)|
|Minced pimento||3 Tablespoon|
|Sliced stuffed green olives||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned chow mein noodles||10 Ounce|
|Fresh mushrooms||16 Large|
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat; cook onion and green pepper until tender.
Blend in flour; add milk gradually.
Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is smooth and thickened.
Add cheese and drained mushrooms; simmer until cheese is melted.
Add eggs, pimento and olives; heat through.
Serve over chow mein noodles.
