Shrimps With Dill And Mushrooms

Ingredients
  Shrimps 1 Pound
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Mushrooms 1 Pound, sliced
  All purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dry white wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Heavy cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Fresh dill/Dillweed 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Brandy 1 Tablespoon (optional)
Directions

MAKING
1 Cook the shrimps as per the instructions.
2 Shell the shrimps and devein. If the shrimps are large in size, cut into pieces.
3 In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
4 Add mushrooms and saute until soft.
5 In another pan, melt the remaining butter.
6 Blend in flour and cook until golden
7 Pour in the wine along with milk and cream.
8 Stir constantly and cook until thick and smooth.
9 Add dill and salt and pepper to taste.
10 Mix in the shrimps and mushrooms.
11 Add brandy if you like.
12 Over hot water, heat the mixture in the top part of a double boiler.

SERVING
13 Can be served on rice, toast or toasted english muffins.
