Savory Stuffed Mushrooms
|Green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), finely chopped|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), finely chopped|
|Soft breadcrumbs||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (About 4 Slices)|
|Low fat monterey jack cheese||2 Ounce, shredded (1/2 Cup)|
|Dried whole thyme||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2.Remove stems of mushrooms and clean them.
3. In a nonstick skillet, saute onion, green pepper using cooking spray until soft and tender.
4.Add in rest of the ingredients except the mushroom caps after removing from heat.
5.Spoon filling into mushroom caps.
6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
7. Serve with dips and sauces.
