Bacon & Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms
|Fresh mushrooms||1 Pound, cleaned (About 24)|
|Bacon slices||4 , chopped|
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Soft bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Set Power Select at HIGH.
Remove mushroom stems and finely chop 1 cup; reserve.
In medium glass bowl, heat bacon and onion 3 to 3 1/2 minutes or until bacon is crisp, stirring once; drain.
Stir in reserved mushroom stems, bread crumbs, cheese and pepper.
Stuff mushroom caps with bread crumb mixture and arrange 12 in circular pattern on glass platter.
Heat, covered, at HIGH 6 to 7 minutes.
Let STAND, uncovered, 2 minutes before serving; repeat procedure.
