Bacon Stuffed Mushrooms
|Fresh mushrooms||1 Pound, cleaned (Medium)|
|Bacon slices||4 , chopped|
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Soft bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Remove mushroom stems and finely chop 1 cup; reserve.
In medium glass bowl, combine bacon and onion.
Heat at high3 to 3 1/2 minutes, or until bacon is crisp; stir once.
Stir in reserved mushroom stems, bread crumbs, cheese and pepper.
Stuff mushroom caps with bread crumb mixture and on glass platter, arrange 12 in circular pattern.
Heat, covered, at high6 to 7 minutes.
