Zippy Mushroom Appetizers

Ingredients
  Tarragon vinegar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Salad oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic clove 1 Medium, minced
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground pepper 1 Dash
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Bottled hot pepper sauce 1 Dash
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced and separated in rings
  Canned broiled mushroom crowns/2 pints fresh mushrooms, washed and trimmed 12 Ounce, drained (2 Cans, 6 Ounce Each)
Directions

Combine first 8 ingredients.
Add onions and mushrooms.
Cover and refrigerate mixture for at least 8 hours, stirring several times.
Drain and serve as an appetizer.
