Sauteed Brain Mushrooms With Wine

|Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brain mushrooms||1 1⁄2 Pound, sliced|
|Madeira||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Melt margarine in skillet.
Slowly stir in flour.
Add mushrooms, a few at a time, stirring to coat.
Add 1 1/2 cups water and cover skillet tightly.
Cook slowly 10 minutes.
Uncover and simmer 10 minutes longer.
Add wine and spices.
Bring to boil.
