Juicy Grilled Mushrooms
|Mushrooms||12 Large (fresh)|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Oregano/Oregano, dried||1 Tablespoon, minced (fresh)|
1. Prepare a hot fire in a grill or preheat a broiler.
2. Wipe mushrooms clean with a damp towel. Cut stem ends level with caps. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, and oregano. Brush mushrooms with oil mixture. Season mushrooms with salt and pepper.
3. Place mushroom caps, stem side down, on an oiled grill rack or in a broiler pan set 4 to 6 inches from heat. Grill or broil 3 to 5 minutes until well marked from grill. Turn over and cook 3 minutes longer, or until mushrooms are tender but still hold their shape.
