Mushrooms Revised

This yummy dish from American cuisine can be served as main dish.
  Cut celery 16 Ounce, cleaned (2 Packages 8 Ounce Each)
  Onions 16 Ounce, cleaned, cut (2 Packages 8 Ounce Each)
  Granny smith apple 1 Medium, cored, grated (Unpeeled)
  Extra-virgin olive oil 2 Tablespoon (Food You Feel Good About Black Truffle)
  Basting oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Wegmans)
  Sliced baby bella mushrooms 16 Ounce
  Butter 2 Tablespoon (Wegmans)
  Herbes de provence 1 Tablespoon
  Chicken stock 32 Ounce
  Unseasoned stuffing croutons 16 Ounce
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

1. Heat basting oil in braising pan on MEDIUM-HIGH. Add mushrooms; cook about 5 min, until moisture is reduced and mushrooms have a bit of color. Add celery and onion; cook, stirring 5 min. Add herbes; cook, stirring, 3 min. Add butter and stock; bring to a simmer. Turn off heat.

2. Combine croutons and apple; gradually add to mixture in braising pan, stirring gently. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

3. Bake on center rack of oven 30-35 min or until stuffing is nicely browned and cooked through. Drizzle with truffle oil before serving.
