Fresh Mushrooms With Cheese
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Flour||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Canned pitted black olives||8 Ounce, drained and sliced / chopped (1 Can)|
|Fresh bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1⁄4 Pound (1 Cup)|
|Fresh mushrooms||1 Pound, sliced lengthwise|
|Half and half||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Light Cream)|
In a greased 2-quart casserole, arrange the mushrooms, cheese, and olives in alternate layers.
Blend together flour, salt, pepper, and half-and-half; pour over the mushrooms.
In a small pan, melt the butter; add the bread crumbs and mix with a fork.
Sprinkle the crumbs over casserole.
Bake uncovered in a 350° oven until bubbly and golden brown, about 30 minutes.
