Ingredients
  Canned anchovies 2 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Diced pimiento 2 Ounce, drained (1 Jar)
  Vegetable oil 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dried whole tarragon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dried whole basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dried whole oregano 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Small fresh mushrooms 2 Pound
  Lettuce leaves 4
Directions

Mash anchovies in a shallow container.
Add minced garlic and next 7 ingredients; stir mixture well.
Add mushrooms, and toss gently to coat.
Cover and refrigerate 8 hours, stirring occasionally.
Drain marinated mixture well, and serve on lettuce leaves, if desired.
