Cornmeal Muffins

Ingredients
  Cornmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All-purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 4 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon, melted
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 400F degrees

MAKING
2.In a bowl, place all the dry ingredients and mix them thoroughly
3.In a mixing bowl, beat an egg and add milk and shortening to it
4.Now add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, mix only till it dampens
5.On a greased muffin pan holes fill the mixture
6.Finally bake in the oven for 20 minutes

SERVING
7.Serve with tea or coffee
