Spiced Wheat Germ Muffins
|All purpose flour||500 Milliliter (2 Cups)|
|Whole wheat flour||375 Milliliter (1 1/2 Cups)|
|Wheat germ||375 Milliliter (1 1/2 Cups)|
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Granulated sugar||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Molasses||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Milk||500 Milliliter (2 Cups)|
|Raisins||500 Milliliter (2 Cups)|
In large bowl, combine flours, wheat germ, baking powder, soda, salt and spices.
In large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs and molasses; blend until smooth.
To creamed mixture, add dry ingredients alternately with milk, making 3 dry and 2 liquid additions, stirring just until moistened.
Stir in raisins.
Spoon batter into paper lined muffin cups, filling each to top of liner.
Bake in 400Â°F (200Â°C) oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until firm to the touch.
