Graham Muffins

Ingredients
  Sifted all purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sour milk/Buttermilk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Graham flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Bran/Wheat germ 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cut up dates 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Melted shortening 2 Tablespoon (Bacon Fat Preferred Or Dripping)
Directions

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
In mixing bowl beat egg, add sugar, sour milk and sour cream.
Stir in sifted dry ingredients, graham flour, bran and dates.
Add melted shortening and stir lightly.
Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake at 400F for 12 to 15 minutes.
