Molasses Bran Muffins

Ingredients
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Molasses 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Bran 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Mix first five ingredients with electric mixer.
In another bowl mix together bran, flour, soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients quickly to liquid mixture.
Fold in raisins and nuts.
Spoon into muffin tins and bake until muffins test done.
Bake at 400 degree 15 to 20 minutes
