Heat oven to 400Â°.
Grease muSn tins.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl.
Put egg, shortening, sugar, milk, and bran into the Osterizer container; cover and process at MIX until blended.
Pour over dry ingredients in bowl and stir only until the flour is moistened.
Fill muffin tins 1/4 full.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
