|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Biscuit mix||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Shredded sharp american cheese||4 Ounce, divided (1 Cup)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sesame seeds||1 Tablespoon, toasted|
Saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter until tender.
Combine onion, biscuit mix, and 1/2 cup cheese in a large bowl.
Combine egg and milk; add to biscuit mixture, stirring just until moistened.
Spoon into lightly greased muffin pans filling two-thirds full.
Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and sesame seeds, drizzle with 1 tablespoon butter.
Bake at 400Â° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
