Baked 'Donut' Buffins

Baked donut muffins that are a real comfort to snack upon. This muffin recipe calls for vannila and nutmeg flavoring for a classic and simple touch. Rolled in a cinnamon and sugar mix, I call these buffins, just for fun!
Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 6 Tablespoon
  Egg 1
  Vanilla 2 Milliliter
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 75 Milliliter
  Cinnamon sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla, then flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and milk.
Mix only until blended.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon until well blended.
Remove muffins from tins and roll in topping.
