Creamy Muffin Curls

creamy muffin curls are small and delicate muffin rolls that are baked with creamed butter and flour. Sweetened simply with packed brown sugar, this easy to prepare muffin curl recipe only uses a handful of ingredients.
Ingredients
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Shortening 4 Tablespoon
  Milk 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Butter 3 Tablespoon, creamed
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

In a large bowl with a fork, mix together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add shortening and then milk, blending to make a soft dough.
Knead slightly and then roll out to 1/4 inch (5 mm) thick.
Spread with creamed butter and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Roll up like a jelly roll.
Cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces.
Stand rolls on end in prepared muffin tin.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
NOTE: Centers of rolls curl up and will be glazed on edges.
