Halloween Monster Muffins
|All purpose flour||375 Milliliter|
|Baking powder||10 Milliliter|
|Ground ginger||2 Milliliter|
|Ground cloves||1 Milliliter|
|Ground nutmeg||1 Milliliter|
|Packed brown sugar||125 Milliliter|
|Canned pumpkin puree||125 Milliliter|
|Vegetable oil||50 Milliliter|
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and brown sugar.
Mix in raisins, if using.
Make a well in the center.
In a smaller bowl, beat together egg, milk, pumpkin and oil.
Pour into flour mixture and stir just until moistened.
The batter will be lumpy.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin.
Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
Decorate with vanilla or cream-cheese frosting or whipping cream.
Use raisins, chipits, smarties, carrot or green bell pepper pieces, nuts, or what- ever else you have on hand to make all kinds of scary monster faces on your muffin tops.
