Orange Date Oatmeal Muffins
|Quick cooking oats||250 Milliliter|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||175 Milliliter|
|Chopped dates||125 Milliliter|
|All purpose flour||500 Milliliter|
|Baking powder||15 Milliliter|
In a bowl pour milk over oats.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
In a food processor or blender, process orange until finely chopped.
Stir into oat mixture.
Add egg, sugar, butter and dates.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add oat mixture, stirring just until blended.
Do not overmix.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin, dividing evenly.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
