|Cake and pastry flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), unsifted|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Melted butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Measure and sift dry ingredients into a bowl, and make a well in the center.
Combine the remaining liquid ingredients, and pour into the well.
Stir only until flour mixture is dampened; then fill lined or well-greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
Bake about 20 minutes at 425°F.
Makes about 12 muffins.
