Date And Raisin Muffins

Ingredients
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon, melted
  Raisins 2 Tablespoon, chopped
  Dates 2 Tablespoon, chopped
Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix egg, brown sugar and salt.
Sift flour with baking powder.
Add milk alternately with flour mixture.
Add shortening, rai- sins and dates; beat only until ingredients are blended.
Pour into greased muffin pans.
Bake for 25 minutes.
