Ginger Muffins

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Molasses 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Hot water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Grease the muffin cups.

MAKING
2) In a large bowl, combinebutter, sugar, egg, molasses and first amount of hot water.
3) Stir thoroughly together.
4) In same bowl, add next six ingredients.
5) Mix well.
6) Slowly add hot water to the bowl.
7) Fill muffin tins 3/4 full with muffin batter.
8) Bake at 400°F (200°C) in oven for 20-25 minutes.
9) Let the muffins rest for 5 minutes then remove from cups.

SERVING
10) Serve the warm muffins with tea of coffee.
